Ghaub Campsite
Booking RequestThe pitches of the Ghaub Campsite are well apart from each other, hidden under trees on the slope of a small mountain and offering a great view of the Ghaub valley in the middle of the Otavi Mountains.
- Three pitches, each with own shower/WC
- lawn, barbecue, table, sink, light, socket
- 5 min. walk to the lodge (restaurant, bar, pool, free WLAN)
- fire wood available for purchase
Please be prepared for self-catering. At the lodge restaurant there are only seats available if the lodge is not fully booked. Table reservation is not possible.
The campsites are located at the starting point of the nature trails and below the “Lion King” rock, from where you can greet the rising sun.
What to experience at Ghaub
Support sustainable travel with a stay of two nights or more in the lodges or campsites, and receive a 25% discount on all activities as a thank you.
Rhino Tracking
Accompany the trackers of our “Rhino Patrol” on foot in their search of the white rhinos. You will learn a lot about the behaviour of the animals. With a little luck you will encounter the rhinos – on eye level.
Cave Excursion
Not for claustrophobic visitors! Physical fitness is also a must: the deeper the cave, the less oxygen in the air. With a passage system extending to a length of 2.5 km, the Ghaub limestone cave is the third largest cave in Namibia.
